
Shoonya festival is celebrated in the month of June and July in Mudhouse Experiential Hostel located in Jibhi,Himachal Pradesh,Jibhi is a beautiful,unexplored small hamlet located in the Banjar valley.The periphery is covered with dense and tall tress and the traditional houses which were bulit using stone,mud and wod enhances the overall beauty of the place to the peak value and makes it as a favourite place of travellers.
There are various types of activites held in the event including Mandala making,Essential oils making,concrete jewellery making,drum circle,yoga,mediatation,self-exploration activities,sharing circle,community kitchen,letter earthlings,poetry recitals,storytelling and many more.Every night, there are some musical concert type events organized to entertain the travellers.
How to reach Jibhi:
Shoonya festival offers different types of stay options starting from Quechua camps to private rooms.
By car:Take the Chandigarh -Manali highway and as you reach the tunnel at Aut ,take a small detour right before the tunnel and head towards Banjar.
By bus:If you are coming from Delhi ,board any bus going towards Manali and get down at Aut.Take a local bus from Aut to Banjar and then Banjar to Jibhi.
By train:Take a train till Chandigarh and follow the bus route suggested above.
By air: The nearest airport is Bhuntar.You can hire a local taxi from the airport.The distance from Bhuntar to Aut is 18 km.
